Information
Ceremony
Your wedding ceremony at Champlain Orchards can take place at the “Pinnacle,” the orchard's
highest point. The Pinnacle offers a rustic wooden arbor and
sweeping views of the Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. Other options for the ceremony include the Shoreham First Congregational Church
in town, 4 miles from the orchard.
Reception
Your wedding reception or other event at Champlain Orchards will be under an elegant
peaked tent in an open field amidst flower gardens, peach trees and apple trees.
Because we are an outdoor venue, we only accommodate events in spring,
summer and fall months. Please inquire for specific dates.
Food
Here at Champlain Orchards, we take fresh, local, organic food seriously. To this
end, we have developed relationships with select caterers who use our fruits,
vegetables and meat as much as possible. We work with the best caterers at all
price points so we can offer you a full variety to choose from. Our farm market
is equipped with a full kitchen and ample refrigeration.
Flowers
At Champlain Orchards events, it’s not just the food that is local. We have relationships
with florists who use flowers from our farm in conjunction with their own blossoms
to create custom bouquets and arrangements for a beautiful, sustainable wedding. We
also feature beautiful flower gardens prominently around the reception tent and
parking areas.
Parking
Parking is available on-site.
Accommodations
There are a number of hotels and inns in the area to accommodate you and your guests.
The charming Shoreham Inn is 4 miles from the orchard and offers a special rate if you
wish to book the whole Inn. Other inns in the area include the Middlebury Inn, the
Swifthouse Inn and the Barsen House Inn, to name a few. We will be happy to assist you
in finding accommodations for everyone traveling to join you.
Favors
Your guests will love to take home a little piece of Vermont after the wedding. We can put together personalized favors from a variety of farm-made products, from
apple butter to fruit jams to cider syrup.
